After a very long travel day, we decided to make day 2 of vacation low impact. We awoke after a long and good night’s sleep to no power. Fortunately the on-site restaurant has a gas stove so we were able to have breakfast & Diet Coke – no coffee. We spied a couple of iguanas on the way back to our room. While there are plenty of them in Sint Maarten, they seem to thrive even more in San Pedro.

We decided to venture north on bicycles for a different beach venue and a larger market. The most prevalent modes of transport on the island are golf carts and bikes. We decided to try bikes this morning. We ventured to one of the top rated beaches at Ramon’s Village.

Spent several hours there enjoying the view and having lunch before to Royal Caribbean.
