Warren Elected Board President at Samaritan Ministry

Edward D. Warren has been elected Board President of Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington (SMGW).

SMGW was founded in 1986 when volunteers from Washington, D.C. metropolitan area Episcopal churches met to discuss the best way to help the homeless pursue realistic and attainable goals in a safe environment. SMGW, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, serves more than 1,000 people each year.

Warren has more than 25 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience. He served as a board member and treasurer of Strive DC prior to their merger with Samaritan. Ed joined SMGW’s board when the merger was finalized in August of 2016. He was elected board president at the Samaritan’s annual meeting on January 22nd.

Warren earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and an MBA from Loyola University of Maryland. In addition to service at Samaritan, he serves as a board member for the Association for Accounting Marketing and is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Greater Washington.
