We started the day with breakfast, a large basic breakfast with eggs, Canadian Bacon, sausage potatoes and pastries provided as part of the continental breakfast.

Then we prepped for our trip to the private beach.Because it’s low season, there never seemed to be more than 20 on the beach the entire time we were there. Staffed with a dozen or so people they offered a full bar, an extensive menu of light bar food, including fish tacos, pork sliders, and onion rings, and two on site massage therapists. While I didn’t opt for a massage, the delighted sighs from the two patrons on the table indicated that the therapist were pleasing their charges.

After several cocktails (including an other worldly Pina colada) and a good lunch, we headed back to Mahogany for some time at the pool.

We returned to Red Ginger for our second dinner and third meal of the trip. Surf & turf are mainstays there. We opted for the tika masala and a pizza last night. While not disappointing, they weren’t the tour de force delivered in our prior meals. Despite this, the service and attentiveness of staff was beyond reproach.

Always a great sunset in San Pedro! Full moon is pretty impressive, too.
